About Granexport
"GRANEXPORT", company that specializes in export and import of cereals, was founded on July 30th, 1952. Since 1999 Granexport has been operating as a joint stock company oriented on trade, production and services, and since 2014 as a limited liability company.
Main activities are:
- Wholesale trade of maize and other cereals on domestic and foreign market
- Production and trade of maize flour mill products
Since the founding, Granexport has been creating a position of reliable business partner in agribusiness, both on domestic and foreign market.
Construction of the silo
In the full conviction that quality cereals trade also demands adequate storage and reloading structures, in 1969 Granexport decided to construct a silo in Pancevo with the capacity of 50,000 tons which even today represents the largest loading-unloading cereals capacity on the Danube, upstream from Constanta. On the same location, by the Danube Port, next to the silo, in 1972 maize processing mill was put into operation, built entirely on Italian technology and with the capacity of 40,000 tons.
Relying mostly on South Banat as a source of raw materials, Granexport has maintained long term partnership with agricultural combines and also with large number of individual farmers.
European standards
After construction, the facilities were carefully maintained and reconstructed for the purpose of constant improvement of business standards that had attained European level long time before.
Granexport has introduced and applies integrated management system according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, ISO 14001:2005, FSSC 22000 and OHSAS 18001:2008.
Quality raw materials for production and export
Gravitating toward providing quality raw materials for production and export, Granexport is becoming more oriented on its suppliers in effort to provide them with quality seeds and sufficient quantities of mineral fertilizers so they could finish all the work on their fields in quality manner and in optimal period of time which guarantees them good harvest and quality.
The effort of Granexport to link together, in its business transactions, the needs and interests of every individual farmer and the needs and interests of renowned world companies received confirmation and has reflected in positive results implementation through business transactions ever since the foundation of the company.
Service facility in rail transport
Granexport owns facilities that are directly or indirectly related to railway activities and owns three industrial tracks that are connected to the public railway infrastructure through the "southern industrial zone" of the city of Pancevo.
